I haven't heard anyone call for the death penalty. But people are outraged that the one person being held acocuntable for this crime is being given a walk. It just smells more and more like a coverup. If Libby goes to jail, he has no more incentive not to tell everything he knows. This looks like a way to keep hiding the truth.

The left is outraged over Libby;s sentence being commuted.
Where was thier outrage when Clinton commuted the sentence of Democrat Congressman Mel Rynolds who had been convicted of child sexual assault, obstruction of justice and solicitation of child pornography. Then 3 years later convicted of bank fraud and lying to SEC investigators.
The Democrats even ran Mel Rynolds for Congress in 2004.
If the Democrats really cares about valerie plames name being released to the media, they would be calling for Richard Armitridge to be proscuted.
But since Armitraidge has no connection to Bush or Cheney, now it doesn't matter that he leaked Plames name to the media.
