I need percentages so if you can please just answer how many times on average each week, - once, twice, three times etc.

Of course I won't be offended if you want to add info, or any jokers out there who give silly answers, LOL, but a fair number of simple answers, as requested, will give me the figures I need,

Thanking you in advance

Red Lady-Bird, thanks for that. Of course not everybody has or uses a washing machine every week, so I do need the zero weekly uses as well in order to get accurate stats. I'd think that out of 30 answers 1 Zero user would be a fair reflection nationally.

Hi, When all my children were home I used to wash about twice and three times a day but since they have grown up and sort of left home I usually wash clothes about four or five times a week.

I am also using a 30 degree wash more often now as this is supposed to use less electricity. I also use less powder than recommended as Have read that we don't need to use as much as we do.

I also wash whites and coloureds separate.
I have washed trainers in the machine but try not to do it too often as I believe it may damage the machine.

I hope this helps for your project

Depends on whether the boyfriend brings 2 bin liners full of mucky clothes and if I change the bed linen. I would say that on average, I use the washing machine 3 times per week. Sorry, can't think of a joke!

There are 6 of us here so we bought the biggest washer that we could afford. We do between 8 and 10 loads a week so on average that would be 9 times a week. Good luck.

I do not have one. I wash many items by hand and go to the launderette once a week, it costs £7-£10. I also do not have a t.v or a microwave or an iron or a dishwasher and many other electrical items. I do however have a toaster and a kettle.
