How can you tell if molly and bosemani rainbow fish are male or female?

I just didn't really want any breeding in my tank, so I wanted to make sure I have all females or males. Thanks!

You already have the info for the individuals in the species. You wouldn't have to worry about getting all males or all females in the tank, just of either species because the rainbows and mollies aren't capable of breeding with each other.

On a side note, unless you buy mollies that have been separated by gender, females will most likely be pregnant when you buy them - and they're capable of storing sperm and giving birth for up to 6 months later (one brood approximately every 28 days). So if you don't want any fry, buy the males.

In rainbows, the males have the best color, but the best color is shown when there are multiple males for a female in the tank - the males "color up" to try and attract her attention. Without a female, you may not get as good of coloring. Having plants in the tank will also help with their color, although the mollies may have a tendency to nibble at them.

Male mollys will have a "spike" shaped anal fin, whereas the females have a"triangle" shaped anal fin. Your bosemani is so easy to sex, I am surprised you even asked. Does it have color? If so, it is a male. The females are very plain. Of course, they cannot hybridize.
