C'mon, if he and his wife and his kids cannot control their consumption; how is he suppose to control the consumption of a whole country?

What an idiotic idea!!

His weight DOES NOT make the least bit of difference to his ability to govern. The President is supposed to govern with his mind, not his belly!

Many US Presidents have been overweight. It's shallow to even think of it.

As for him consuming less, Al Gore is a human being, not a symbol, and he's no more or less perfect than any other human.
If only perfect people were allowed to lead, we would be in big trouble.

Al Gore is a complete hypocrite. He doesn't even believe a word he's saying (which is why his house uses so much energy). Far-left Marxist Alexander Cockburn has actually published a book that criticizes Al Gore's career record of hypocrisy. Gore campaigned against cigarettes, while receiving money from his family's tobacco company.

Cockburn has mentioned that he has a history of being wrong about everything. His book is mostly sound, though it repeats the myths about Clinton and others destroying the New Deal (which is alive and stronger than ever, thanks to our recent presidents).

I think it was entitled "Al Gore: A User's Manual" or something like that.

Watch his weight and hairstyle closely. I think a change in either will be the indicator of his intention.
Remember how Reagan used to dye his hair and wore makeup to look younger? To me, he just looked like Joel Grey in his role in Cabaret.

If he do run, he will be added to the LONG list of flip flopping liberals. He said last week that he was tired of politics.

Yes, he should lose some weight. About 200 lbs., in the form of Al Gore III. Way to go son, thanks for helping pops out with his bid for the presidency.

Al has made 100 million dollars in the 7 years since he lost the race, and I'd like to know where all that money has come from. He has always represented the "tell-them-anything to get elected" class of politicians, only he lies from the left. i hope he loses some weight too.

He should lose some weight. But better yet, he should hunt around for his mind which he lost after his 2000 presidential defeat.
