If you go on your computer, click Start -> Run and type cmd to bring up a DOS prompt. Then type ipconfig /all to find the DNS addresses your PC uses.

Enter these same addresses into your PS3 DNS settings to see if that fixes it (use the same gateway address as the PC, too). A DNS problem usually occurs when a device can't contact a DNS server to resolve internet addresses.

If your PS3 is getting an IP address, then the connection between it and your router is fine. Something is wrong with the PS3's connection to the Internet, however.
