Go with powder first. It is way cheaper. My nephew started with powder and they switch him to ready to use and then tried switching him back. He ended up always being constipated so they were stuck with concentrate where you add water to a can of concentrated formula liquid. There is no difference nutrient wise just the smoothness.

The ready to use is a lot more expensive, that is the only difference. I used the same formula with my daughter and used powder and never had an issue with bubbles. The powder is also nice because when you are out and about and it's time for a feeding. I would fill the bottles with the amount of powder that was needed for each feeding and carry a water bottle. The ready to use has to be refrigerated after opening. The powder was so much more convenient for me.

in case you're making use of faucet water, sure you could desire to boil it first. If this is filtered, this is no longer mandatory, besides the reality that the powder dissolves plenty greater constructive in warm water than it does in chilly water. i could use boiling water and shop on with the guidelines on the can. We make 8 bottles at a time, as we've twins who take 4 bottles an afternoon. We make each and every of the bottles the night earlier and placed them in the refrigerator. So we use boiling water to make the bottles, then put in the refrigerator. We heat fairly earlier giving to the toddlers. ***Erika S - there isn't any distinction in the lead tiers between warm and chilly water. Lead would not magically seem while the water gets warm! you won't be able to offer lead by skill of heating water!

I've been thru too many babies and too many formulas. Powder vs RTU is no difference. It's a convenience thing. It's to save money or space or time. Both are equally as good. Do you have the time to sterilize bottles and water and mix stuff and fill them? Or do you want to just sterilize bottles and shake and pour from a can? Price is in there too. It's all up to you. When the kids were small I hung on Consumer Reports for many things. Being a new mommy and a new wife of 2 years, I wasn't sure about too many things. That book helped me thru tons of things. And if you don't see it in writing there is always another book of theirs to compare things to. Baby products, appliances, cars....you name it. And if they didn't research it and you want to know then all you have to do is call them and they will do a report on it if they think its a good subject. But as far as the powder vs ready to use (RTU), I chose ready to use. But we had a pretty good income. My sister and her daughter both used powder. Like I said. It's up to you and your lifestyle. As far as one being better then the other? I saw no difference at all.

I liked the ready used and my oldest son actually preferred it too, he spit up more with the powder, maybe it was just a coincidence. I think either one is ok to use. THough I think they said its more sterile when you use the ready to use but Ive used both. WIth my second did fine with the powder.

Use the powder one it has less stuff added to it and also it is easier to make the milk thinner or thicker according to what your baby likes better. Also it is easier to wean the child off when they get older.

i would suggest the powder as the liquids have more preservatives and are thicker. they are more difficult to digest than the thinner powder formulas and the spitup from ready to use stains babys clothes yellow.
