The best you can hope for is a wake up call and thank goodness no one was hurt. It was highly irresponsible on his part, if he wants that type of a lifestyle--keep it at home, not on the roads.

Now we can look forward to this post 2,00 times.

Any parent who does not keep an active involvement with children under their care are guilty, even more so if those minors are under the protection of the Secret Service. I’m not picking sides on this one. If MY kids do something wrong I act, and I DO try hard to teach them to make good choices, as all good parents try. There is a day that you have to set the child out into the world and hope that the ideals that you try to teach the child will stay with them.. Can the parent be blamed for the misdeeds of a child? That depends on if the parent was “good” or “bad”. If the parent tried to do their best and the child still errors then no, I don’t think so. If the parent was never involved at all with the child who errors then yes, I would say they are to blame.

Having 2 adult daughters I can state that control is lost around 15 no matter how they fake you out.

Been there done that myself as the 15 year old too.

Once on their own you have even less.

I find no fault with Mr./Mrs Gore or Pres. & Mrs. Bush
