How come every one is upset about Scooter Libby but no body gripes about Sandy Berger?

JOE WILSON FOR THE JOB. THE DOCUMENTS SANDY BERGER TOOK INVOLVED 9/11 & PROTECTING HIS BOSS CLINTON.

As part of his plea agreement he consented to take a Polygraph. He has refused to do so as yet. The prosecutors said the National Archives will never know what all he stole. Do you think he might be reluctant because he may be covering for someone that it would not surprise us if he were. As a veteran of 30 years in law enforcement I always look for motive. Why would he do it unless he's a foreign agent or he is trying to keep information from coming out about the Clinton's before the National convention's.

I dunno..FOX 'News' has hammered on this for quite awhile. The problem here is, nobody actually knows what documents were taken or what they related to. It's all a big mystery. Berger had his day in court, the judge and jury heard the charges and the verdict came down. Isn't that the system? If Libby had walked, which he eventually will, that also is the system. I think that the object of this 'question' is to somehow make it okay for Libby to do what he did because someone else did it, or at least did something similar. That kind of buck passing is grade school BS. Why not just admit that the system is often flawed, having a good lawyer is the key to beating the rap and that if you're caught doing something you shouldn't it's usually best to get out in front of the charge, admit it and take your medicine like a man. That's what my dad told me and I'll bet most of us got the same lecture. Wait until the news breaks about Al Gore's son and a dope charge...the wingers will go nuts!

Scooter Libby would be better off being Clinton disciple Sandy Berger, nothing more than a felonious ghetto thief who should be in Federal Prison for stealing documents from the National Archives to cover you know who in the terror investigations.

Amen, brother, now you're talking. How can the dems/libs turn a blind eye to Berger but want to crucify Libby for supposedly lying to a federal agent. You are right theft and destruction of government documents should hit a lot higher on the outrage scale but all we hear from the left is the sound of silence.

Sandy Berger plead guilty, came clean, and fulfilled his sentence. Libby was convicted, never did tell the truth, and had his sentence commuted.
The damage from the crimes of Libby and those he's covering up for caused far greater damage to the institutions of the United States, particularly the CIA.

There is a list of several people Clinton pardon for lying to federal officers as well as Sandy Berger. I think it is what is called a double standard. It is alright for you to do it but very bad for me to follow your lead and do the same thing. Don't be surprised when Big media doesn't reprort the difference.
