Use a heat gun (or a hair dryer) to heat the film and melt the glue! start at one corner with a razor scrapper, and peel the tint off. pull it off slowly in one piece, applying heat to the point where the tint is meeting the glass,
Use the scraper to release any tough spots. After the film is removed, use glass cleaner and and the scraper to remove the glue residue..
If you have tint on a window with a defroster grid, take ti to a professional tint shop for removal. It is very easy to damage the defroster, and if they do, they have to pay to repair it!!

I almost got a ticket for the same thing...alll you have to do is get a razor blade and some tint remover from your local parts store, roll your window half way down then start from an edge slide the blade under the tint and work it off... good luck

there are a few ways you can do it, first with a razor blade and some type of glass cleaner of your choice. second you can get a heat gun witch looks like a hair dryer and heat the window from the outside then start the peel process on a corner with a razor blade. good luck in your efforts
