I have a 2002 honda accord SE

Can it be fixed at home or what are my options?

It is probably a bad motor or transmission mount.
These will allow the engine to rock when shifting from revers to forward causing the engine or accessories to hit the body.

cv joint more than likely. Jack the car and inspect it for rotational wear. If you got the will you can do it. most autoparts stores will rent you the tools except the socket. You can save about 200 oneside if you do it yourself. Hondas axle nuts are torqued on tight. If you can`t bust them free go to an atuoparts store than does maintance work and tell them you bought the cv joints there and they will bust them lose for free

Could be a bad CV joint, but that generally makes noise while turning. Could be a motor mount or the idle speed could be too high.
