Not a dumb question at all.
However, the Jawas are just like the deformed dwarfs from 'Phantasm'...lol Since they look 'identical' then you can watch 'Phantasm' and actually see one 'without' the brown cloth...lol Yes, I DID just compare Star Wars & Phantasm. If you'll notice, both were written the same year. Both have simular characters and scenery. There's so much alike about the two, I'm sure there's a real connection somewhere. I just don't have any proof.
