They play a song after a home run for the home team, anyone know what it is- there is no words- this music has been played in movies for a long time but I don't know the source.

It's the "home run theme" from the soundtrack to The Natural by Randy Newman. It appears several times on the entire album in different tracks; the specific one the Rangers use, I think, comes from "The Final Game".

It is definitely the theme song from the movie "The Natural" starring Robert Redford. I believe it is called "The Natural" and was composed by Randy Newman.
