if someone had a scuffle witha pregnant woman...he strikes her but cause no harm but she presses charges but she doesnt show up to court or anything can he still get charged? this is his second assault charge.....last one was in 2002 and was a misdemeanor and thats the only one he has. what do you think he will get charged with? jail time? or probation? witness (pregnant woman) is not willing to follow through with charges . she refuses to testify against him. there wasnt no serious damage done to victim. she had been stroke once on the arm. she refused medical care. he is scared because he didnt mean it. he ask me to post this . i would appreciate it if i got some answers. also state hasnt really filed charges yet. his pretrial officer told him the state hasnt found out what to charge him with. are they having a hard time putting a case together against him. the defendant is my brother.

WHO STARTS A SCUFFLE WITH A PREGNANT WOMAN?!!! at this point i wouldn't be worrying what the charges were going to be. it's a little too late for that. i would be more concerned about getting this guy into some type of anger management program. this is the second time. the i didn't mean to do it story is bull. he can't control his aggression and needs to get some type of help. if not the next charge could be for murder for an argument that went too far. before you hear i didn't mean to do it AGAIN, i would seek some counseling.

big man. in a scuffle with a pregnant woman? witness/victim doesn't need to testify for charges to be brought against this hero. unfortunately he'll probably get off to go assault someone else. then someday someone won't take his BS and will lay him down.
convince your brother to seek counseling whether court ordered or not.

the fact is that a man should never hit a woman pregnant or not I think he should git the crap kicked out of him. That is not respectable behaver for any man and if I had seen this happen he would not have to worry about jail time he would have to worry about his hospitable bills. Seeing as thats where his next stop would be.

I don't care what the circumstance was ANY man that hits a women needs to go to jail....and pregnant on top of it....What a LOSER
