Well, after 3 years together with my bf. And the third in a row, that we didn't spend the 4th together. He always picks a fight with me.So now I'm celebrating "my" independence.

I'm proud to be an American! Can you tell? No other comes close in comparison. Yes, I am celebrating today with my family and alot of my friends. I have been on the phone quite a bit today to wish some of my friends the best and a happy 4rth as they are basically spread throughout the country. Some however are traveling here. This is one of my favorite times of the year (also Christmas) to have everyone together. Therefore I plan large. I have swimming activities planned for adults and children in the pond. Games everywhere. A pork in the ground as I speak (Hawawian style), 8 types of beer and other drinks for the ladies, A friend is even bringing somewhere around 6 gallons of baked beans. Now that doesn't sound all that difficult, but when you consider that they are traveling 1100 miles? So yes I AM celebrating!

Yes of course, and i hope everyone stops and think about what the meaning of today really is, ya the bbq's and fireworks are all great but don't let that stop you from remembering all the men and woman fighting for our independence....we are so lucky to live in America and if it wasn't for our soldiers we may not be so lucky...we are just hanging around the house being lazy me and my hubby and kids then we are gonna eat dinner and pop some fireworks and don't forget the prayers for all our soldiers...God bless America

well usually we just go out and watch the fireworks (family)..but this year...turning 18 has brought me new found episode..so i am going to go with my friend's to denny's at 4, and then watch the fireworks with my friends at 9...lol...with old age comes new independence

oh and its my bf's and my 6 month aniv...but he lives in FL while i live in CA..so we are going to talk on the phone today :)
