When it's no longer comfortable--your body will certainly tell you! For me it was around 5-6 months. Then I got one of those body pillows and even though I can't sleep right on my stomach, it feels like I can!

This is actually a myth. You can sleep on your back, stomach, or any other position for as long as it's comfortable. There is a concern about the baby's weight cutting off circulation, but that's only if you stay on your back for extended periods of time (i.e. laying in a hospital bed). But you automactically move around during most cycles of sleep to prevent circulation problems, so you never stay in one position for very long. As for your stomach, your baby is well cushioned by amniotic fluid, so no concerns there.

I would say as soon as you find out your pregnant. Sleeping on your back or tummy causes pressure. The best way to sleep is your left side. I know, this does get tiredsome, I can't WAIT to be able to sleep on my back again!!!

At 16 weeks it is suggested you start sleeping on your left side, since this provides the best circulation to the baby.

When it's no longer comfortable.
Pre-pregnancy I was a belly sleeper. I miss it so much.
