I would say GWU if you are very into politics. Most people from that school and most people you will meet are very into it. If you're not so much-- it can make you nuts!!

UMBC is between the main appropriate colleges that i've got ever encounted. I spent 4 years at school Park and spent a twelve months at UMBC. I definitely sense that its greater constructive the UMCP. once you're majoring in Biology, this is advisable to look at UMCP or UMBC because of the fact they feed into the college of Maryland medical equipment. questioning past to med college, Baltimore grants the UMD medical colleges and of direction, the surprising Johns Hopkins medical institution. an costly pal of mine did his residency there. Now he's at Duke college medical college (how approximately them?). i do no longer want to throw too many stuff at you, yet UMBC is a jewel, fairly obscured by skill of all the different "celebrity" establishments in the section. I woud choose NYU just cause its cheaper. if your looking into politics and law go to GWU if your looking into performance art and those kinda of thing then I would choose NYU. their both really good schools though.

Both are great places. NYU is ranked higher. The real question is -- do you want to be in NYC or DC? Personally, I'd choose NYU.
