I vaguely remember him wanting to play for Duke but not being able to get a high enough SAT score, but maybe I'm thinking of someone else or something. Thanks

Kobe scored 1255 on his SAT...good enough to make it to any school he wanted to go to, he would of went to Duke, but what for, you go to school to make it possible to earn a good living, if you don't have to go to achieve that, then why go.

After Kobe’s breakout year, college recruiters from across the country came knocking. The soon-to-be senior boasted excellent grades and SAT scores, so academics would not be an obstacle. At the top of his list were Duke, North Carolina, Villanova and Michigan.

But when Chicago schoolboy Kevin Garnett went in the first round of the NBA Draft in June of 1995, Kobe began seriously considering moving directly to the pros. That summer, Joe arranged for his son to work out with members of the 76ers, and Kobe was awesome. He also made a big impression on scouts at the ABCD All-America Camp at Fairleigh Dickinson University in New Jersey.

Kobe had great grades so that wasn't a problem for him. When Kevin Garnett went to the NBA straight out of high school, that is when Kobe started to seriously consider it. He was a great talent.

Actually, Kobe was a good high school student. Kobe was a basketball prodigy who would practice with the Sixers at the age of 15 and school Jerry Stackhouse at the age of 18...

What is the economic gain of going to college when you can make more money playing for the NBA than almost any college graduate will see in his or her life?

Jordan is the superb participant of all time, he not in basic terms replaced right into a large scorer he set up his different teammates for open photographs to strengthen the factors scored in video games; kobe on the different hand is a ball-hog and lebron? He hasn't even been around long adequate to rank with kobe and jordan.

No man, with that talent, he could attend any college he wanted. If Kobe Bryant is an all-star at 18 in the NBA, why would he go to college?

You're thinking of Kevin Garnett. He couldn't get the SAT scores required to attend. Kobe came out for all that money.

That's D-Wade. His ACT score was 1 point too low.

Kobe didn't go to college. But it had nothing to do with his grades. Out of the whole league, he was one of the bests. He got a 1080 on the PSATs, which sucks, but on the actual SATs, he ot nearly 1500.

Kobe's mom was really mad at him for not going to college, by the way

because he saw how good KG was doin and decided to jump straight into the NBA...and tho i really don't like him, in fact i hate him...any real NBA fan would have to admit that he didn't disappoint, as far as playing the game goes...off the court is different...i don't think college ball could've improved him too much more...but i don't care
