Does it sound like a name for a girl or boy?

I think of a girl who is a serious tomboy and can't keep her room clean to save her life. She sounds like she probably has maxed out her iPod, and underneath the fascade of boyishness, she's a hopeless romantic. Oh... wait, that's me. Ha. Sorry. Wish I'd been given that name.

It sounds like dinner! Teirgan sounds like Tarrgon which is used for cooking like giving things flavor boost. I would reconsider the name because if you name a child that they would be picked on so much for it and I don't think you'd want that for a child. Sorry to sound so harsh but its the truth.

All I can think of is, "Shouldn't it be Tiergan?" You know - "i" before "e" except after "c"...

I think it's best for a boy since I don't really like masculine names for girls. But if you like it for a girl, that's what matters. Also, it seems like there should be another syllable in there:
Tieragan, Tierigan, Tierigan???

I can't tell and when I researched it .. does not come up in babynames.com.
Does come up as fictional characters in books.

Personally sounds like a fictitious name for a fictitious child. Sorry I don't care for it.
