I had a dog that would jump through the screen door and stand there shaking. The only time he wanted to get in the house. He was a hunting dog too, guns didn't bother him.

don't know about fireworks, but I used to have a dog that was petrified of thunderstorms. She was fearless about everything else.... she took on anything
but thunderstorms made her quiver and cower like a baby

Yeah. A week before the fourth we'd go to the vet and get a couple of tranquilizers for him. We'd keep him in a closed quiet room with the TV on low and just let him chill.

YES! He is always hiding under the desk or jumping into our laps (he is a chocolate lab and weighs 80 pounds) hes the biggest of our dogs and the biggest scaredy cat.

No thank goodness I have always been around them when thunder storms have happened or they hear fireworks & they see I am not frightened plus I play with them so they never really paid any attn to the noise.....

my dog climbs in to the closet it sounds like she is rummaging through the closet - a get her out - back she goes
she knows how to get the sliding door open
