I just bought one of those cheaper table top propane grills and i can't get the stupid thing to light...even with a match...any hints?

Did you have the propane tank filled? They do not come charged!

When using the smaller canisters of propane they come filled with fuel. I you know it is full of gas and gas is flowing through, check the air/gas mixture control. You should be able to adjust it.
