BCS doesn't need a fix.

It needs to be demolished and replaced with a 16-team playoff.

Florida would have damn well been prepared. Ohio State just doesnt get it. They thought they would run all over them. Florida had a 37 day layoff. Ohio State was just a freakin overrated team in an overrated conference with an overrated quarterback. AND IT SHOWED. Do not blame the layoff. I agree that no one should have to wait that long. But it's B.S. if you truly believe OSU was just not sharp because they didn't play for 57 days. IT'S THE NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP. Hell I would be ready to play after 157 days. Plus, they don't need to shorten the season. OSU just has to be smart. There were at least 3 maybe 4 weeks after they ended their season until the final poll to see who they would play came out. Ohio State just wasn't that good and the sooner people realize this, the easier life will be. The Big Ten is the most overrated conference in the nation.

And the person who said that the BCS is away from the fans has to realize that, although we control ticket sales and things of that nature, nobody would sacrifice missing their BCS games for their team. The presidents all realize this and therefore they don't need to worry how the fans feel, they make their money.

Fair point, but teams getting a 57-day vacation is hardly the biggest problem with the BCS. I doubt Ohio State's 57 day wait affected the outcome of that game. They would have lost anyway because Florida's defense was far too fast for them.

You do have a point. Excuses are just that though...excuses. I think even Ohio St would agree.

The BCS needs a makeover and has to devise some sort of playoff system. What they're currently using is broke.

I don't know who the BCS is, but they are out of touch with college football fans.
