Of course we should. Never should have been there in the 1st place.

For a long time, even though I opposed the invasion, I also felt that we should not pull out because it would expose all those who had had the courage to work with our government to establish a new democratic Iraq. However, in recent weeks I have become skeptical that greater expenditure of US lives and treasure will bring anything more than a more expensive failure. Victory, I assume, would be leaving behind a stable, democratic Iraq, friendly to the US. But I do not see anything that we can do at this point to produce such a result. It appears to me that Bush's objective at THIS point is to postpone the inevitable until after he is out of office so that he cannot be said to be the President Who Lost Iraq. And I am unwilling to see more of our young people killed or crippled in the service of THAT objective. So, I would vote 'yes' for immediate withdrawal, and I hope we will have learned an important lesson about the limits of projected power. Being 'the only superpower' in the world does not necessarily imply we can have our will done wherever we wish. We DO need to win hearts and minds, or we will be left with a history of 'won' battles in lost wars.

No.

And this is a very poor place to conduct a survey that will meet any scientific criteria. But go ahead, the pollsters do it every day.

No. We have a job to finish. We leave and Iran takes over. You think we have a terrorism problem now, see what happens if we quit and run
