The 7300 GS EVGA seems good with all its ratings and requires 250W power supply, has 550 MHz core clock and 533 MHz memory clock. Has 256MB GDDR2 video memory.

The 7300 GS Sparkle seems exacly like the one above but it doesnt have any reviews or ratings. Has core clock 550 MHz and 256MB DDR2. This cards information states it has DirectX 10 Technology.

The last one 8400 GS card has no reviews but seems its the newest, has DirectX10 support which is good for future gaming , etc. It has 256MB DDR2 memory and 450 MHz core clock and 800 MHz memory clock. It costs exacly/or even less then the older first one.

Which is best and what do the different memories mean? (DDR2, GDRR2) which is better too?

Th 8600GT is the best buy for the money right now, but make sure you get one with DDR3 memory. The price is a little more than $100. The 8600 has an extra power connection, but it isn't required to use it, but you will get slower speed unless you do.

DONT PURCHASE FROM TIGERDIRECT!!! Just dont do it. I hate them and Ive purchased ALOT of computer components online. No one does it like www.newegg.com. They are quite simply the best. secondly on www.newegg.com you can get a 1950pro for about 140: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814102075

at the moment DirectX10 is very new. No released games have been developed specifically for DirectX10 though some have been made compatible with it. Crysis will be the first DirectX10 game and is scheduled for release in August. Its simply not worth buying DirectX10 compatible cards untill the 8800GTS's drop below 200 dollars, and I promise you they will well before the holidays. spend a little over a 100 now on a card that will play new games on at least resonable setitngs for awhile and save up for a really good DX10 card later. but if your looking for something under 100 dollars here are a some from both ATI and Nvidia:

There are so many available on Newegg its really impossible not to find exactly what you need. Go there yourself and find the one that suits you best. Remember, for budget shoppers like you and me, you should never buy more than you need. Trust me, it works out better than buying a card for a game that will need more anyways to be run on hi. (you can buy 2 1950pro's for the price of one low end 8800GTS, see what I mean?).
As for the power supply: if you goog...I mean yahoo (whatever) around and find a review for a card with the same chipset you often can find out the entire test computers power consumption w/ the card in it. The recommended power supply is often higher than what is actually needed, however its not the best idea to use a 300watt power supply if they recommend 400watts. (but 250 vs. 300 vs. 350 shouldn't make a horrible difference). The test rigs usually have a quad core proc. and 4 gigs of high voltage R.A.M. with the Optical and Hard Drive spinning full out. Make sure you have the proper power connectors though.

The 7300s both will have similar performance (They share the same chips) But the sparkle card will probably work best. Out of the three, the 8400gs is probably the best, being the next generation (Native Dx10 support is useful for windoze vi$ta), and would make a good choice.

In the context of graphics cards, DDR2 and GDDR2 are the same thing, and refer to the type of RAM the card uses. GDDR3 is th best at the moment.

Are you going to be enjoying video games or assisting NASA engineer their next area commute? you would be spending way too plenty on that build. evaluate what I actual have decrease than: The i7 960 is a extensive skill hog and is outperformed via the i5 2500k (~$2 hundred). upload in a unmarried GTX 560 or Radeon 6950 (~$230) and in case you do no longer basically like the overall performance it delivers, upload a 2nd later. Case eighty, 8GB RAM $70, PSU $ninety (to allow for a 2nd video card in case you pick), HDD $eighty, DVD $20, Mobo $one hundred thirty, followers/Fan Controller $50, CPU cooler $30. entire = $980, or $1200 with twin video enjoying cards. abode windows 7 professional retails for $one hundred twenty too, so, no extra advantageous than $1320 for each thing. i'm hoping you're no longer paying extra advantageous than that... and, i'm hoping this would grant some nutrients for concept and careful attention previously making your purchase.

I'm not sure what the difference between the GDDR2 RAM and the DDR2 RAM is (quite possibly they are the same thing), but none of those are very good. Of those, I'd go with the 8400GS simply because it's DX10.

You can get better cards in that price range. But as you noticed, your PSU is screwing you over, and unless you have more money to upgrade that PSU, you're not getting much better.

Well...in this range they won't make a big difference to notice, but newer the better and if you really want to play with out problem don't get under Nvidia 7900GTX , of course I know you may have limits for money!!!
GDDR2 is newer and faster graphic memory.
Good luck.
