Favre could put it through a basketball hoop at 65 yards, so he is #1. Who comes in 2nd? Dan Marino, Dan Fouts, Joe Namath, Sonny Jurgenson, Daryll Lamonica? Anybody got a list?

Favre out threw Elway by 10 yards at QB challenge - and then mocked Elway's walk and mannerisms!

He throws INT's now because he has to throw it up for a chance to win. He is not a stat. watcher like most quarterbacks. He should be commended for that! Also, he keeps having to play with new wide receivers every game it seems. They break off routes and stuff all the time. If you really knew football, you would know that.

I'm going to have to go with Jeff George also man his arm was like a cannon. If he were not such an idiot and a child he may have gone somewere. And I have to mention a little guy by the name of Terry Bradshaw which I did not see on anybodies list. They say he could thought the ball from one endzone to the other i don't know if it's true but All I know is he could chunck the ball.

Warren Moon. Look up his numbers. Between the years he spent in the CFL and NFL he put up more yards than any other NFL QB in history- OVER 70,000! He threw for over 4,000 yards 4 or 5 times in his career in the NFL. He threw for plenty of TDs and had high completion percentages always, so his accuracy can't be questioned. He was ridiculous. In my opinion, next would come Marino and then Fouts.

If Favre is so accurate, why has he thrown so many interceptions? In response to you, if Favre has bad receivers that are making bad routes, and he is constantly pressured then why doesn't he throw the ball away and not up for grabs so much. It is because he continues to try and force things. Not a good trait. Oh, and I have been a fan for over 40 years and even played a few years, so I do know a little about football.

The most accurate long ball thrower was Dan Marino. Remember how he used to squeeze that ball in between 2 defenders all the time.
John Elway was also very good.

John Elway, hands down. I hated that horse toothed MFer, but he could throw a 60 yard ball on the run better than most could flat footed. My other choice is Randall Cunningham, everyone was forgets about him, but he could heave the long ball, too.

I'm glad Jeff George was mentioned. He had one of the best arms I've ever seen. If he wasn't such a child, and focused on the team, he could have been great.
