No, I feel so left out because a lot of other people can swim and I wish that I can swim. I did take swimming lessons, but they didnt help, and all I learned was how to float on my back. The only thing I did do is float on my back. I seem to forget easily, and after about a year of not going in the water, I completely forgot how to do everything. I even forgot how to float on my back, and now I am really sad. Also, in P.E., we had to swim and I was terrible so I was made fun of. I also still have to swim in P.E. next year and the year after that in Highschool. I cant do it, the pool at the highschool is too deep. I probably will drown xD

Sadly, no I don't. I even grew up on a lake. But on this lake when I was 3 or 4, I almost drowned and I've had a fear of the water ever since. I wish I could overcome it. I've tried adult swimming lessons too, but that didn't help either. So I applaud all those who do know how to swim.

Yes, I do, like a fish. I think that it is really important that you know how. With all the recent floods in the United States, I would be very concerned if I felt that I could not swim to safety. Places like Austin, Texas....who would have ever thought! They are way above sea level and far from the ocean. I was in the flood in Houston, Texas, my house went underwater in about 45 minutes, we barely escaped, that was tropical storm Allison. I think it's very important to learn to swim.

Yes...I was like a fish when I was a kid. My parents could not get me out of the water. I don't go swimming anymore, at least after I turned 40....I feel ridiculous in a bathing suit.

I might not be good enough to be on a swim team, but I can swim well enough to keep myself from drowning!
