One of my tetras got stuck in a cave entrance that is way to small for him. I had to push him out backwards and now he has some bruising by his dorsal and pectoral fins. he was wedged in there pretty good and i think i may have damaged a few of his scales getting him out.Is there anything i can do for him other than adding some Aquaclear(stress coat) and some salt to ward off bacterial infections?

Just keep the tank water nice and clean and it should heal given a little time. Sounds like fairly minor damage so it shouldn't be anything to worry about at all.

Keep stress to a minimum, keep the water clean, and get rid of that decoration. I have had fish that were missing most of their fins and scales, and have brought them back from the dead. I even revived a bullhead catfish that was dry to the touch, with no lasting effects. Salt will help, but stress coat really isn't going to do much. The aloe that they advertise does nothing for fish.

that stuff might work if you have a breeding net then put him in there so that none of the other fish thinks hes dead or week and try eating him even if they aren't bugging him put him in the net anyways they will bug and hares him until he dies and then eat him ya so get some medication for him and next time hes stuck don't push him out back wards because it could either drown him or rip of most of his scales

Keep the water quality good and feed him well and I would expect a full recovery.

If its black then its healing. No need to medicate.
