Fox and CBS rejected the ad because for them the ad is irresponsible, but in my opinion i believe that this ad is a responsible campaign because it promotes the prevention of unwanted pregnancy and sexually transmitted diseases.

Many kids includeing me watch the news and it wouldint be very effective to put that commercial on because all it would do is spark the idea in preadults to have those types of relations so its best left out of news broadcasting completely since it really wouldint prevent anything but spark the idea in teens.

If it's okay to promote tv ads for beer and other alcoholic beverages, then it should be okay to show ads for condoms. After all... it's promoting safe sex.

I agree with you, Fiona. Society is sexually active, and condom use needs to become an intrinsic part of the public consciousness so that people make sure they buy condoms before they have sex, have them on hand prior to sex, and use them during sex.

Not to mention how effective the brand is itself. I would encourage those kinds of ads as they promote safer sex.

I love these ads. Protection against STD's is hard to get across to young men and women, perhaps these ads can get past their ADD.

I agree with you. People are going to have sex, isn't it important to educate them about ways to keep themselves safe?
