The Sym Jet is a scooter, not a moped.
To start, hold the brake and press the starter button by the throttle.

I guess you bought it online and NOT from a dealer? Your dealer should have told you how to start it.
They come with both kick and electric start. You dont know what you are doing.

You pedal it, there may be a hand lever you need to squeeze to start it.
