These days, a person like that is an observer - they see more than the rest of us. They can be dynamite!

As long as it is her choice and no one elses. There are many women out there who know about being bold and aggressive, but choose not to. Personally, I do not think its ok for a woman to be submissive and reserved, if she thinks that is her only choice. But I think most women (obviously not all) know they have choices. Plus I have seen some reserved and submissive women use those qualities to their advantage.

But that is just my two cents.

Although it would be thought that she is some sort of Sap or Sucker..I think it takes a content, mature woman secure in her relationships and herself to be both submissive and reserved, given she isn't being abused in some sort of way. People hear submissive and reserved and think terrible things about a woman but I think it should be viewed as a strength not a weakness. Its not easy to be both.

Submissive means often vulnerable. One should be either dominating, submissive or" reacting."Dominating means you will be taken for a ride.Sexual abusive cases are mostly in the cases of submissives. As regards offencive ,they are not muck liked and will loose popularity.Relations with such type of people will be difficult. What is best is "respond" or react in an appropriate way depending on circumstances. You can be your own master that way

in my opinion, it's ok to be reserved because it's not always something you can help if you're just naturally like that and it doesn't make you look too 'forward'. but i get really annoyed by submissive people who let anyone walk all over them and never stand up for themselves or anyone else either. everyone has the right to stand up for what's right and what they believe in. Good luck xx

My opinion is she probably gets taken advantage of occasionally, but if she can live with being that way, great for her. I will just have a problem with her if she tries to make other women think that her way is the way to be(and the same goes for the opposite type of woman, not everyone is the same and they shouldn't be, and they shouldn't try to force people to be the same as them).

? No problem with it, we all have choices about how to be (or we should). There's no trouble with being submissive as long as you're a good judge of character and will choose friends and romantic partners who won't take advantage of you. But it's not like being quiet and kind is a bad thing...

If it's an occasional "role", judiciously timed and well played... it can be delightful! However, as a dominate trait, it would eventually get boring for me. However, it's often a cover for an unheathy dependency, or worse -- a passive/agressive nature. But that's just me. I have no need to dominate to bolster my self-esteem.

My step-mother put this outfit on real well ... but it was an ACT and she was the most dominating controlling succubus I've ever come across in my life.

So, I guess my opinion is that it's a LIE.

Some people have that particular personality that lends itself to being that way, regardless of their gender. But those who choose it aren't going to get ahead in US culture. They don't fit in well with the way we do things, and like one person said, they'll get walked on all the time.

Are we talking of two 'types,' or are you lumping them together?

I have no 'one' opinion on too many women I know not and am like to never not know.

I'd imagine ('imagining') there are like those whom I'd like and those whom I'd not like - or feel indifference to ~ of the submissive type. Then, of the 'reserved' type, I'd imagine there are like those whom I'd like and those whom I'd not like -or even feel and indifference to.

Complicated, eh!

I'm wondering 'Why it is you ask of these two specifics!'

Sash.
