kind of oppressed in their own country. A government is supposed to fear it's people but in the USA the people fear the government. My question would mwke more sense if you watch the movie "Sicko" by Michael Moore. You can watch it for free online at http://static.filefront.com/ffv6/player/vp.swf?v=229510

Patriotism and Religion are two of the greatest dangers to peace

Well, I am American. and the last time I looked The Patriot Act was sweeping our civil rights, and our freedoms right out the window! And what about the Homeland Security! I fear these two agencies far more than any supposed terrorists that MIGHT hit our country again! And Bush is changing the constitution every time we are turning around, and yet people refuse to say that there is a problem!
There are none so blind as those who will not see!
Michael Moore tells the truth about our health care in this country! and that truth is that it sucks! There are too few free clinics, there are no free medication dispensers that I know about! The pharmacies like their money! You need a co-pay to go to the doctor, and that is if you have insurance in the first place! Do we have a problem with our government having to much power over us, yes, we do! Is this still the best and freest country in the world, yes it is! But don't gloss over the problems and pretend they are not there!!

The average American citizen doesn't think that our government can spread democracy or even has the right to try. Only King Bush the first thinks that ----- and he has run amok..

Well over 70% of us believe that what is happening in the White House is criminal...and our Congress should oust that madman....but they don't.....

We will speak at the ballot box at the next election and throw the bunch of them out!! I think we are a lot smarter than we were 7 years ago when voters stayed away on election day and the lunatic fringe was able to put Bushie and the boys in office.

We will regret that for generations.

I'm an American and I'm free. If you believe Michael Moore then only God can help you at this point. Please tell us where you live and what makes you think you have more freedom than I have here in America.
My guess is you are really an American liberal...

you have based your question on faulty information. I know of no other country in the world where people have more freedom than we have here in the USA. I would not spend 1 penny to support anything that Michael Moore has anything to do with. I would not waste my time on him either, I would rather shovel crap than listen to that moron.

I don't know if you are asking in jest, already knowing the answer or if you really don't know. I think one of the reasons we think WE have a monopoly on "spreading freedom" is the insane poorly named doctrine of "manifest destiny" which declares that God is on our side, the rest of the world desperately needs to hear the voice of freedom, which the u.s. government alone is capable of delivering, blah, blah, blah ad nauseam. Yes, we fear our UNELECTED government, bought by corporations, and I personally do NOT believe in this trashy manifest destiny, nor do I believe God is so insecure that He needs our input.

The US government spends billions to wage war for the freedom of Iraq, to rebuild infrastructure, to build schools, yet America is falling apart.

The US will not last as a nation for much longer. The Great Experiment has failed.

You are going to base your theory on a fictional movie made by a socialist. Michael Moore is a socialist and presents his socialist views in the movies he makes.

This would make you an idiot and I hope you are not an idiot. I am hoping you are just young and misguided.
