My ex fiance had that problem, he'd go limp and couldnt get it back up no matter how hard we tried. But, one thing you failed to mention, does your wife try to help you get it back up? Are you still attracted to your wife? Another thing I wonder about is your age. Could it be possible you have "E.D"? There are meds out there that the Dr. can give you that can make a world of difference. I know many men are embarrassed to talk about something like that but when my ex took that little blue pill........the earth shattered! Good luck hun.

I'm wondering if maybe it could be caused by some type of medication you're taking?
Some medicines do have those side effects.
Or is there something that is bothering you that you keep trying to put in the back of your mind, and it's effecting you this way?
Are there problems in your marriage or with your wife? Even if you're trying to make things work, if you're not feeling the "love" feeling, it could effect you.
As I'm talking to my husband about this problem, he is reminding me of his marriage before me.
Him and his wife (at that time) were fighting all the time, (she seemed to like to fight because she liked the make up sex), anyway he started having sexual problems. Even though he was trying to work on his marriage, the fighting got the better half of him, and caused him to not be interested in her (even though he tried). She was telling him he needed to go see a Urologist. The problem wasn't with his performance , it was with his life.
And believe me, my husband and I have been together almost 8 years, and he has NEVER had any trouble with sex the whole time we have been together. So that goes to show, when there's problems on your mind (or in the back of your mind) it will effect you in many ways, sex being one of them.
If it's not your marriage or any medications, then I would say it's time to go to the doctor. Unless you just want to keep going on like this :(
Good luck

Why don't you think about your wife? HELLO???? She is the one you are with. Focus on her hair or eyes, I'm sure you can find a part of her to focus on. Get back to real life and you won't lose it so often.

It sounds like you may have an erectile dysfunction. See your doctor to see if it is physical or psychological. In either case Viagra will help.

Every man, no matter what they say, experiences a problem now and then. If it is consistant, see a doctor.

You're going limp because you think of other women besides your wife. It's your conscious telling you what an a.s.s. you are.
Either keep your eyes on the prize, or cut it off.

Tape some porn on the head board. Or tell your fat wife to loose some weight that way you won't have to try and think of someone else.

get some toys, hot wax, ice, anything to lighten the mood, if she agrees movies are nice too, you just need a little excitement, different position or oral, those drugs screw with your blood pressure, I prefer to raise your blood pressure with other means....
