Like the Big Lebowski said, "I hate the F@^&%*&G Eagles"! Just kidding. They wrote some really great songs and Hotel California would probably be thier best recorded effort.

Hotel California - the music and lyrics hold up well after all these years and it was a landmark release which defined the closure of the reckless & hard living of the "beautiful people" in the 1970s.

I have to go with almost everyone else and say "Hotel California." It is hard to find a good album with so much depth and meaning as this one has.
