Oh, yes. ALWAYS!!
Once, we were having Field Day in school. And we were all serious 'cause all the grades were competing with each other. So we weren't talking to people from other grades. It's a very small school - 20 kids is the population of the largest grade. So, it was pretty serious and quiet. And suddenly, the VP of the Student council (also our emcee) put on YMCA. And when it came to the chorus, everyone from all the grades were doing the hand formations and laughing and smiling. The song is GREAT for breaking tension.

This song definitely puts a smile on my face. Everytime I hear it, it makes me want to do the dance with the whole hand movements. Oh, I can't get those village people in those crazy costumes. They are trully unique!

It always brings a smile to my face. It could be because years ago I used to go to a strip club a lot. Once a night they would play that song and 40 naked girls would do the YMCA dance.

Not only does it make me smile, it also makes me want to get up and dance the Y.M.C.A.! You just can't sit still when you hear it!

Oh yes and it makes my foot tap which is followed by the desire to get up on the dance floor and wave your arms around like an idiot. Love it!

Yes. They always play it at the demolition derby and adults and little kids are singing and dancing to it. Fun to watch and makes me smile.

It reminds me of when I was a member of the YMCA when I was 9 yrs old, and the very inappropriate actions of some of other members while we were in the shower.

Always. I have to drop everything to do all the hand motions ~~~ it makes my family nervous when it comes on while I'm driving! It's a fun song
