why ont girls usually go swimming with their period i mean can you or cant you do they just chose not to or what? and if u can y dont they?

Your supposed to use a tampon when swimming with your period. If you had one, you should know that.

As long as you wear a tampon you can swim on your period.
No tampon = no swimming
A period doesn't "temporarily stop". What it is is your blood is being discharged into the water, but since there is so much water it disperses the menstrual flow quickly so it only looks like your period stops. Not wearing a tampon on your period in the water is very unsanitary.

I go swimming with my period on, just you cant use Pads you have to use a tampon. Another thing i do is cut the string of the tampon so you wont tell on yourself in the water.

As long as they wear a tampon it is perfectly safe. Those that don't either can't (or won't) use tampons or are worried about the exercise making their cramps worse. Water/swimming does NOT stop a period.

i think this is just a matter of choice for each individual. there is no problem with going swimming whilst you have your period you need to use a tampon and just enjoy yourself

Because it isn't very hygienic.You can go swimming but make sure that you use a tampon.

yea u can swim while having period cos once you go in the water. the period would temporarily stop but when you're having period your body is open so god knows what in the water can go into your body very easily.
the easiest solution is to use tampon.
