I'm working on a c.d. for one of my best friends and she's into slower songs. She's not really into R&B, Hip Hop, Rap, or Pop but if their good songs, i'm sure they'll be fine.

Try something by Paramore like My heart, Until Tommorow, and Franklin. Theyre an awesome band, I think she'll like them. Also Dirty and Left out and Amazing because it is by the Almost are good. And the song new american classic and my blue heaven by Taking Back Sunday are really good.

I hope this helps.

"I Want A Lover I Don't Have To Love" and "Haligh, Haligh, A Lie, Haligh" Both are by Bright Eyes. He's brilliant, listen to him. "10,000 Miles" by Mary Chapin Carpenter, it's from the movie Fly Away Home (you know..the sixteen Canadian geese with the snobby girl) "Title and Registration" by Death Cab For Cutie, it honestly isn't really sad but it's a very slow song and I love it mucho. "Concrete Angel" by Martina McBride. This song is very sad, it's about child abuse. And of course you can't leave out "Can't Smile Without You" by Barry Manilow Those are my most favourite songs ever. "Use Somebody" by Kings Of Leon "Heart Of Lilith" by Inkubus Sukkubus "Keep Your Heart Broken" by The Rasmus "I Feel Like Dying" by Lil' Wayne. I know you said no rap but it's not really a rap song, it's just a very slow and sad song. It's reeeally good. I suggest giving it a try. But when it comes down to it, you can't top "Heaven 9-11" by DJ Sammy. This song literally puts me to tears every time I listen to it. I could definitely give you a huge list but my main computer with all my music in it is being laaaaame and not letting me in.
