Why ever time abortion comes up does a woman say i should be able to do whatever i want with my body?

So my question is if one stands by that position do they also support the legalization of all drugs?

or what they mean is "i think i should be given the right to do this with my body."

I do. We should all be free to as we wish so long as it doesn't infringe on another's rights.

Your question is a good question and I'm all for doing what I choose to do with my body except when it comes to abortions its not the woman body that they are destroying its a living breathing human life they are taking away so abortions is really in the eye of the beholder but I'm neither for or against when it comes to abortions and as far as legalizing drugs that is a joke people are going to get drugs whether they are legalize or not its just another way for this country to take our tax dollars and put it up in smoke

They believe their's is a well thought out stance. It is not. Should a pregnant woman get murdered, the perp gets charged with two counts. They say they want the government out of their womb, but then they demand and expect free healthcare, WIC and Welfare. What we get is a legal system (child protective services and social services) inundated by those same individuals who repeatedly make bad life choices. If we are to legalize abortion then, it should be mandated that these women also undergo a hysterectomy and not be allowed those various other "social" programs mentioned above. No government intrusion should come with a price. We already give them "Free" education, and all they've learned is how to spread their thighs to some worthless, low life, piece of garbage who will move on the moment he's had his fill. No accountability, but it does keep Mauri Povich employed!

Anything you do to your body could affect other people. Like smoking and cancer--who has to take care of you in your dying days, won't they suffer a lot. Abortion, all women should be able to take the morning after pill, after all she's not pregnant yet. Otherwise a woman should learn to use birth control or abstain from sex. If a woman is at risk of her life I think it would be better to save the mother than save the child. Think of it like this "a motherless child or a childless mother", which is worse?

I think the distinction here is that an abortion done correctly ends any further impact on society at that point where as drug abuse costs the rest of society greatly- cost of police protecting victims when drug user is out of control, cost of the drug users health care because many druggies cannot keep a job and side effects of drugs ruin major organs that tax payers then are expected to pay for the care of this person. Also many drug users use all of their money to buy more drugs so society gets to also pay for their food, shelter, clothes and all other expenses.

I think there is a big difference between abortion and drug use.

The question about abortion is that there is now another life involved being that of an unborn baby. The arguement is when does it become viable or have rights. Some states want to charge murder when a fetus is killed yet a fetus being aborted at the same age of maturity isn't. That isn't right. At what point do we recognize a fetus as life?

Drugs should be legal for adults, but since most drug users are too braindead to organize and pressure their representatives, the religous right will keep getting more prisons built and filling them with pathetic drug users who's only crime is polluting their own body.

it means they are selfish and just want to do what they want to do...it is a catch all phrase that no one has come up with a good come back on....so how about this one...
"It is your body, so why not respect it".
Also when someone says that for reason of abortion...say "Yes it is your body, but it is not just your baby".
