you may not stop in thecasinos if you are 21, if you gamble they are likely to want to gamble, aqnd if they do the casino could have their liscense in jeopardy, plus if he does gamble and wins a jackpot, he cannot keep it, so the best bet is to just pass through do not stop, or go directly to jail

He can enter the casinos, especially the big hotel/casinos. For the most part you have to walk through casinos to get to hotel rooms, resturants or family friendly attractions, but you have to walk along the main paths if you are under age. The main paths usually have distinctive carpeting that lets people with kids know where they can and can't go. Like anything, some casinos enforce rules better than others, but casinos generally don't like people who are taking up seats and not gambling. If he was dumb enough to try gambling and he won, the casino could refuse to pay him after the fact, especially if he wins big. If he was getting hassled at one casino, the odds are he could walk across the street and be left alone at another, especially if he doesn't look young for his age. When I was over 21 I got carded like crazy in one casino and never anywhere else, often even if I was getting drinks and gambling I would be left alone.

There are plenty of things an 18 year old could do legally in Vegas, both on and off the strip, but that could change how you spend your time there.

If you are under 21 you can't stand in one spot. You must keep moving.

He must also stay on the main pathways and not go within the casino area.

No, people under the age of 21 are not allowed in casinos.

Barkley Hound has it right -

You can walk through (and would have to if he were staying at one of the strip hotels as that's the only way from the lobby to the rooms in most of them), but under 21's aren't allowed to linger.

I really don't remember ever getting carded unless I went to a bar/club. They might not say anything as long as he DOES NOT sit at a slot machine or at a card table. They sometimes card when you sit down; be careful you don't want to get in trouble and ruin your time there. Good luck!

As long as he doesn't stop near the gaming areas, there shouldn't be any issue.

They say that you can't....but I don't think anyone is even checking. If someone does card him he could always just say he left his i.d. in his room. I stayed at Stratosphere and they never even carded me when I ordered drinks or when I was cashing in my ticket....so I'm sure it would be fine for him to be in there.
