Once an entity can control what you put into your body, you have become the property of that entity.
No discussion. We belong to the State.

right now it is neither. The Politicians work for the people that grease their bock pocket the most (yeah prove me wrong, find ONE senator/representative that you voted for that truly stands for what you believe in). Some time in the past 60-70 years, Americans forgot what our government is there to do, and has allowed it to run the course and suck up more power for itself. All the while the people work for pennance salary to pay for the Politician's bloated salary, meanwhile said Politician is out there getting more money from their friends at Halitburton, Enron, Ford etc...
But..after all analyze the word Politics

The government is supposed to be government BY CONSENT OF THE GOVERNED. Unfortunately, we give our consent to those wastrels who go in and make themselves more money by re-electing them to office.
If you're tired of this happening, do something about it. I would suggest becoming a Libertarian.

The Politician should be working for us. but unfortunately manywork to change laws to make themselves more money. Like special interest groups. Say a real estate broker goes and becomes a politician. He may want to change laws in order for him to make more money like deregulating restrictions or raise rent or anything.

We run those in Wash DC.
Libs got Power Hungry each year.
NO we RUN the White House & Congress.
They work for US.
