then i need to imagine what this song says about me to someone i have never met

I have to do the same thing but we have to get a ballad and explain how we feel about it. I would pick Just One Kiss by Carl Carlton because I always say I am always wishing for that one thing and most of the time it never happens until I least expects it and when it happens it means all the world to me its like I can never forget it...

I would also pick She is a Bad Mamma Jamma by Carl Carlton (same person) I am bad when I say I am going to do it I do it no matter how hard it is I am a woman to my word. I can stand without anyone holding my hand as long as that one above says he got me I believe that he has me...I am poetry in motion like the song says because I am a beautiful person inside and out smiles...I doubt you have ever heard these old songs I heard them from a movie but they are nice check them out on youtube.com okey dokey good luck on your assignment...Peace

I'd pick the song My Reply by The Atari

This song was writen by Kris Roe to a fan who sent him a letter saying that she has some sickness and is giving up on life, so she wrote a letter to thank them for all their songs. So in return, Kris wrote this song and sent it to her. It's about telling her not to give up, just hang on and she'll make it through. Anyway, she survived and sent another letter to them later on.

Generally, this song is about not giving up, and the line that really struck me is
"If you just hold on for one more second
Just hold on to what you have
If you just hold on, just hold on
You will wake up tomorrow."

Why it's so important to me?

There was a day when I was feeling really down, it was close to 3am, I was so depress that I had a thought that I'll never make it through. It wasn't suicide, but I felt like giving up on my life. I could sleep or do anything so I just put on some rock songs from my PC here, hoping I could channel out all my anger. Then this song was in the playlist. I can't exactly describe how I felt at that moment, it's like the song is speaking to me. It gave me hope, I felt better, went to bed and woke up next morning feeling better.

That was how it became the most important songs in my life.

i think "all that i've got" by the used would be the song that I'd choose. It's really sad because of why it was written. It's a bit of a long story, so just go here and read it if you don't mind =)

i would pick "Lipgloss" by: Lil Mama b/c i always have to have my lipgloss on...lol. I love this song b/c it has a great beat and when i hear it it reminds me to always put on my lipgloss....lol. =)
