i believe that Monty should be in, we have lost another 1 day match and including the 20/20 matches we have lost 2 won 2.
i think Monty always has a chance to get wickets, as many teams are quicker run scorers than England it's vital to get wickets - and Monty will do this.

1 day games r not just about bowling or batting, fielding too plays a major role. monty's fielding is not upto mark fielder. 1 run saved plays a major role. also other factor(ver little) his batting

He has not been left out from IDI.In fact he played the last ODI matcvh against West Indies on 1st July,2007.

Monty isnot good enough for one day game because he has turban like Bedi, Maninder, B.S Sandhu, Sidhu,Gurusharan singh, Sarandeep singh, Bupinder singh,Harbajansingh.and none of them proved good in onedays. OK.....

michael yardy (his replacement) is a great batsmen and a good bowler an can field well monty cant do all those thing

We could have done with him to tie up Shiv Chanderpaul. Too many 'allrounders' who can't do either well.
