How to catch Mesprit the one who keeps running away how do i catch him or her?

use the golbat (found in snowpoint temple among other places) with a level arund 50 and who knows the move mean look. use that move in the beginning of the battle and start with quick balls and progress through ultra balls or dusk balls (if night) and then to timer balls.
to find the wandering pokemon easily go to a route that isnt a town that connects directly with another route that isnt a town. I suggest route 206 and 207, find where it changes routes and move amoungst the routes by just moving the one space to change routes. use the marking map to see when the pokemon is on route 206 or 207. the marking map you get from the poketch president in jubilife

Get a pokemon that knows Mean Look with good speed, like Golbat. Or get a Wynaut or Wobbuffet with shadow tag as its ability. Either way would prevent Mespirt from running away.

Well i find it better with a wobbufet but that's not easy to get other than that i think using a Golbat lv50 and up using Mean Look should be good enough. Just make sure hes your first to fight and is fast to act.

if u used a master ball on dialga then get a pokemon with shadow tag or mean look. i caught my dialga with a quick ball, so i got to use my master ball on mesprit.
