Just wish to stick my head in amongst the pommies. I think each and every country should celebrate momentous days in their history with pride. Enjoy your day and remember the sacrifice of those that surround it.

I have little interest in it. It's fine for the Americans to celebrate but it is just a normal day for us.

4th July? It is just a day when you don't have to work, get to enjoy family and friends and have fireworks. I am all for people valuing their heritage, even if it is a celebration of independence from us. It is all history now.
