I have a chevy s-10. Every time I would flip the switch to turn on the tail lights and dash lights, the fuse would blow. i replaced the switch and i still have headlights. Can I get a complete wiring diagram for my tail lights? Or a shop that can look at it near pekin IL?

I disconnected the tail lights and it still blew, so I'm thinking it's at the dash or the fuse box.

Autozone's web site has a bunch of electrical schmetics online.

You can find an auto electric repair shop listed in the yellow pages. I think it is better to take it there instead of the dealer, since electrical problem are all they mess with.

It sounds like you have a grounded tail light wire. Trace the wiring and you will likely find the cause, there is the possibility you will need a new light switch as well. Good Luck and GOD Bless
