I open to the fact maybe the concert wasn’t my cup of tea but did anyone else think it was at some stages shambolic? I didn’t watch it all but the parts it did watch the presenting was very poor and looked badly organised. The stadium also had lot of gaps almost as if 40,000 had only turned up. Also Jamie Theakson kept mumbling on about the atmosphere which looked no existent from were I was watching.

Don’t get me wrong I’m all for raising money for charities but it seems we have too much events like this going on.

I thought it was very good actually - a wide variety of performances and I think the princess would have enjoyed it had she still been alive.

I do have to agree with you about the presenting though - quite poor really. Especially when Ricky Gervais was on stage - I wanted teh ground to come and swallow him up poor guy.

It was okay, some acts were fantastic and really put their heart and soul into it ie the feeling, take that etc but Pharell Williams was awful, he looked like he just really couldnt be bothered and didnt even bring a band just had some guy in a hoodie moping around behind him.
In some places it did fall apart and I though P Diddy was cringeworthy, going on and on about how much we miss Princess Di-wasnt it meant to be about celebrating her birthday not mourning her loss?
Ricky Gervais was a real dissapointment, he clearly didnt prepare anything other than his first song which was a laugh but just looked really un-professional which is a shame because I usually love him!!
And the stadium looked really emprty, god knows why??!!The presenting was awful too, that Claudia Winkleman was appuling I wanted to shoot her by the end of it....was pretty could but considering the amount of time and money that went into it it could have been a lot better

The two princes where responsible for putting everything together, and choosing the venue. For never having done something on such a large scale as that, I think they did a great job. They incorporated their mothers favorite bands with some of their own.

It didn't look organized because it wasn't all staged, everyone was free to be themselves and say what they want instead of reading from cue cards and monitors.

I think the show was great.

I turned down the volume on the tv and put my favourite internet radio station on the pc. It was really cool to see Nelly Furtado miming to death metal.
