§Ok, this is so weird. Just yesterday, I saw an ambulance go by because there was this huge fire which I had witnessed. The fire was big & there were so many flames everywhere. One car was fully burnt. So when an ambulance passes by...I think of God & pray for those in danger§

I remember all my fun days as a Paramedic. Then, I remember all the dumb idiots that don't know what to do when an emergency vehicle is approaching! PULL TO THE RIGHT PEOPLE!!
ETA: DEEPAK57: Medical staff, for the most part, do not abuse ambulances. Lay people abuse ambulances by calling them for non-emergency complaints. If a patient is being transported non-emergency, then no lights and sirens are used.

Perhaps you do not know that ambulances are many times misused by doctors and medical staff. Many times recovered patients are sent back by ambulance. It is hardly 20% time ambulances carry serious patients. Therefore I do not conclude any thing on passing of an ambulance.

Tonight after shopping we saw ambulances, fire trucks and cop
cars rushing down the street. I said to my husband I hope that they
aren't at our building again. They were on both sides of the street and
at 2 apartment buildings, thankfully not ours. All I could do is pray
no one was hurt.

When I see an ambulance rushing through, my face automatically gets a sorrowful expression and I murmur inside my mouth, " May he/she be at peace!" for the patient inside it.

Fear. Fear for the person inside. And I always say a prayer that all will go the way it is supposed to and if the result is not as good as family and friends would like I pray that they have the strength, courage and grace to accept it.
