guys i need help..i just stopped using my air con in my room for 1 month. And now when i on it.. it only blows normal temperature air out.. i tried putting it to as high as 30 and as low as 18. but nothing changed. it my air con spoilt? or does it need more time to warm up? I need help please! the weather here is killing me

It depends on what type of A/C unit you have.
If it is a window type unit then really from what you describe there is not much you personally can do to get it going.
If the unit is a small capacity split system then there may be a safety circuit tripped in the unit, although these machines tell you there is a problem in the user display. You can reset this by switching off the power supply and then switching it back on.
I think you will probably end up having to call someone out to have a look for the problem anyway. If so, make sure you get an experienced A/C technician if you want reliable service...you get what you pay for!

If this is a room A/C, clean the filter, indoor coil and outdoor coils. If that doesn't help, the compressor is not coming on, and you will need to replace the A/C. If it is only a year old, take it back to the place where you purchased it. If it is over a year old, you will have to buy a new one.

Sounds as if you have a Freon leak have it serviced if it is central air. If is wall unit just go buy a new one cost in servicing wall units that are as old as the hills can be costly & anyways there are cheeper these days and more energy efficiant
