I was in sociology and we were talking about prison and did you know Turkey wanted to take some of our prisoners for a fee I live in North Carolina..I think this is a brillient idea you??

i dont think they deserve to breath much less have all the comforts our jails provide,Think about this a child rapist or any other low life in prison can earn a Masters degree and guess who pays for it yup us.

Why would we pay a country to take our prisoners? We pay enough money keeping them where they're at. Who's to say that the Turks won't brain wash them and turn them into somekind of suicide bombers or something. I think it would be a better idea to take our prisoner's and send them to Iraq and make them fight the war.

Nope, I'm in the minority on this, I know. But I have a very personal opinion on this. The family of the prisoner gets punished as much or more than the prisoner. You shouldn't separate the family. You never know the circumstances and not every inmate is actually guilty. Why would Turkey want our prisoners anyway? Just for the money?

for the most part it sounds like a good idea.i guess it would depend on the crime.murders,rapists,child molesters.hell yes stick em' on the midnight express out of here.and for what the cost is to house and care for a prisoner now days.it might actually save our taxpayers a few bucks.and be a deterent to crime.

It's only a brilliant idea if it isn't you going to a Turkish prison. I would rather be shot. and so would you. Turkish Prisons are notorious for being cruel beyond words,

they already have to live in a cement block the rest of their life, why take them even farther away from any comfort they had? their bad people, but they dont deserve that.

know they are criminal and by definition should not live in comfort and leasure but have you ever heard what the turks do to the people in their prisons..?

It would be costly....shipping fees, insurance and not fair to the prisoners.
