Is it just me or does Nitro seems out of place as the ECW Champion? Nitro should have stayed on Raw or went to Smackdown!, and stay in the secondary divison. I don’t know about you, but Nitro as the ECW Champion seems to be tainting the push he has.
It might be just me, but the ECW title can’t even hold up to the European Title.
Should Nitro go back to Raw, or Smackdown!, and go for the U.S or I.C. Titles?
A heel vs. heel for the I.C. or U.S. would be great for SummerSlam 2007

The entire ECW brand is a joke. Its basically just a training ground for young wrestlers who WWE think might be top players in a couple of years. That's why Nitro was sent there, to see how he can cope being a main eventer. If he gets over as ECW Champion, I guarantee he'll be a Raw Main Eventer in 2 years. Look at Lashley, went to ECW, got over (somehow) as champion and now Main Events Raw! Benoit was supposed to be like a mentor to the younger ECW guys, thats why they were sending him there.

I know. ECW is sort of new and young but still, get a true champion. They had chris benoit but then he killed himself and his family. Johhny Nitro would lose in a minute to the old champion Bobby Lashley who was drafted to raw. Lashley is now fighting the best wrestler today for the title (John Cena)

I think the whole new ECW is about as unextreme as it can get. McMahon has ruined it. And of course Johnny Nitro doesn't fit.

I definetely agree with you. To me, he isn't very hardcore and extreme. I think that he should not be the main champion on either brand (WWE and World Heavyweight). He is definetely more of a US champ or Intercontinental champ kind of guy.

No he fits right in to the sports entertainment bastardization that is WWECW. ECW is dead.

I agree. I missed a couple of episodes and turned it on and he was champion, I was like WTF? I don't think he is world champ material, he needs to go back to smackdown.
