i have a photography assignment to complete within 5 days. the title is ''male''. i have to take pictures which shows male. anything that can portray male. so i really hope u guys can help me and give me some ideas on what to shoot because i am really out of idea. thank you so much. i apprediate it. =)

Ok, let me throw a couple of suggestions your way.
How about starting with a theme like, "The Male at Work" or "The Male on the Job", or even "The Male at Play" (sports, etc.) and go around looking for shots of construction workers, policemen, firemen (duh!), guys on a road crew with closeups of sweat running down their faces or bare backs and arms (NO, I'm NOT gay...just thinking of some good shots you could get). Get in CLOSE, use that telephoto or macro lens to fill the image with sharp detail and rich colors. You want your pictures to be "sharp", so use a tripod if you can and a fast shutter speed to capture it.
Be sure to get those closeups showing pores, hair and sweat that will give your photos drama and make them eye-catching and that show off and put on display your photographic skills and keen eye for composition.
I've always felt there are award-winning pictures in just about anything the eye can see...it's all up to the photographer and his/her eye for detail and composition and coming up with a photo that "tells a story" without a story needing to be told in spoken or written words.

I recommend going somewhere where there are a lot of people-- the beach, a park, and get pictures of "males". If it were my assignment I'd be gearing toward what it means to be a "man". So dudes being dudes wouldn't cut it. I'd be looking to photograph a man playing with his children or being a good husband.

Take pictures of anything geared specifically toward a male. Take a picture of a random person (male)

See if u can make a fireman calender. If ur teacher is female u should get an A. If the teacher is male..take pictures of sports stars.
