I don't think anything of the Irish in general, based on my experiences with them. I've only met a very small percentage. I'd imagine, like any other group of people, there's a whole range of characters.

I had clients in Ireland and went there often. I never met a nicer group of people anywhere else in this world. They are generous, fun to be with. warm , intelligent and kind. The pity is, that I am Irish only once a year. For St. Patricks Day.

I don't get it why people wouldn't like other people just because of their background or culture. But I do have to say, and I think this is sort of funny, but all the people i know who are irish seem to always be late to everything....

I don't know - I don't know many people who are fully Irish. My great grandma was, but I never knew her. It's rumored that they're racist against blacks since the Irish used to also be an oppressed group in the U.S. and put blacks down to boost themselves up. Many Irish Americans got into the police force, which led to many blacks having a fear of the police.

I was born in England and I have living in Ireland 39 years. I have no problem with them. My parents are Irish also and so is my husband. We get along just fine.
